Meet Jessie
Jessie Natusch has been teaching dance since 2011, working with students ages 2 through adult in a variety of styles including acro, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, modern, and creative movement. She holds a B.A. in Dance Studies from Appalachian State University, where she graduated magna cum laude, and has performed and presented choreography throughout the Southeast with professional companies, festivals, and community arts organizations.
As an educator, Jessie believes dance should be a place where students build confidence, creativity, strong technique, and a lifelong love of movement. She is passionate about meeting each dancer where they are and creating a positive, encouraging environment where every child can thrive.
Outside the studio, Jessie is a wife, mom to her 7-year-old son Arlo, founder and artistic director of Jessie Natusch Dance Works, and co-owner of Artisan Tees. She loves building community through the arts and creating spaces where dancers of all ages feel seen, supported, and inspired.
Jessie is excited to join the Island Twist Athletics family and looks forward to sharing her love of dance with the next generation of movers.
