Erica Ryan is a New Orleans native with more than 20 years of dance teaching experience, inspiring dancers of all ages and skill levels. Her training began in jazz, ballet, and hip-hop before continuing into the competitive dance world and as a member of her middle and high school dance teams.

 

She earned a Minor in Dance Education from Louisiana State University and a Master’s degree in Strategic Communication from American University, while continuing her dance training with a competitive hip-hop crew in Washington, D.C. Erica spent 8 years with American All-Star LLC as a Camp Director, Regional Competition Director, and staff member, where she led dance team camps and coordinated regional and national competitions across the country.

 

Known for her energetic and engaging teaching style, Erica specializes in Jazz, Contemporary, and Hip-Hop, while also teaching Ballet, Lyrical, Technique and Dance Team styles. She is passionate about building strong technique, confidence, artistry, and a lifelong love of dance in every student who walks through her classroom.
